More than 35 years I am a Radio-Amateur.  At the age of 14 I started with modyfied CB-Radios. Later I swapped them for a Kenwood TR-9000 2m SSB Transceiver. During the time of my military service I had to do with radio communication too. After that followed my  further education, wife and cat. Meanwhile I made my Ham-Radio-License but the job,family and later house, had priority during this time.  For a couple of years I took the chance to live my hobby as job also by selling HAM-equipment in the city Düsseldorf at the river Rhine. The result was a well equiped shack at home. But still there is a bit too less time for the hobby. So I always enjoy the time to be "ON AIR" .
