I was born and raised in Barreiro city in 1976, located on the south side of the Tagus River, near Lisbon the capital of Portugal.

My passion for radio communication, start when I was a small child 1986, when a teacher of mine show me during an electronics class his HAM radios, was love at first sight.

Few months after, my father give me a 3 channel CB walky-talky, and that was my starting on radio communication.

Years later, always on 11m starts the passion for DX, I was very active till 1994.

Due the life circumstances I was away from the bands for almost 20 years.

One year ago, reactivated my 11m station, I have worked 183 DXCC and 170DCXX confirmed on paper QSL, but I felted want more.

So, after so many years I decided get finally my HAM licence.

And here I’m, now I looking to get the same passion for DX like I had on 11m.
