Passionate about radio communications since the early 70s, I continue to explore the frequencies of the ether with the same passion as ever.
I like to experiment, build new antennas to reach those weak and increasingly distant signals from my radio station.
I started when I was a boy to press the microphone of a transceiver in the city band on 27 Mhz and, in 1993, I got the amateur radio license with the IW9DMR call.
Today, with a lot less hair on my head and more years of age, my name is IT9IAU.
When I contact a new radio amateur, I am pleased to send him a QSL Card via e-mail address as a reminder of our QSO.
Therefore do not feel obliged to reply or send your QSL Card.
I understand the difficulties that can be encountered in organizing the shipment of QSLs.
Thanks anyway
