Retired Carabinieri Marshall (Italian military police). From 1990 radio amateur registered as IW0DMC. Member of “C.O.T.A. ( “ Carabinieri On The Air” – Carabinieri Radio Amateurs Association), member “#024-OR “; ( http://www.cota.cc ) First aid Italian Red Cross volunteer. I was born in Mondaino (RN) on 1953, where I lives till 1970, then joined up to Carabinieri Corp. From 1971 to 1974 I was “CORAZZIERE” (http://palazzo.quirinale.it/corazzieri/corazzieri.html) , in the II° Squadron of the President of the Italian Republic Guards, for this reason I chose that image for my QSL. Subsequently I attended several courses of specialization like : RadioTeleprinter, link radio operator, computer network management and Transmission Operator for Emergency Situations. I have worked last 20 years of duty like 112 emergency number operator in the Carabinieri Provincial Command Office of Latina. I’m involved in Civil Protection and I’m cooperating with Regional Voluntary Group and as Radio-Operator in the local Government Office.
